My goal is to create a space where clients feel validated, safe, and empowered. I am committed to giving my clients the tools they need to lead happy and fulfilling lives. My experience encompasses working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families as an Outpatient Psychotherapist as well as working in the school system conducting mental health assessments, crisis intervention, and individual/group counseling. I have also worked as a group therapy facilitator working directly with adolescents diagnosed with substance use disorders. My areas of expertise include working with children and adolescents struggling with mood disorders, personality disorders, disruptive behaviors, psychotic disorders, and substantial life changes. I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology as well as my Master's Degree in Social Work from Valdosta State University. In my free time I enjoy going on runs outside, embracing my artistic side through painting and sculpting, as well as cooking!
